This section of the El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail offers a unique chance to delve into the rich heritage of our region. The trail itself follows an old railroad bed\, but its roots go much deeper\, overlapping part of a historic route used by Native Americans\, Spanish settlers\, and cattle drives.
