DESCRIPTION:Opening Day!\nDedication & Coin Toss \nThe City of Floresville is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Floresville Sports Complex Park\, Phase 2 on Saturday\, October 3\, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.\, with the park dedication ceremony taking place at 10:00 a.m. The grand opening will unveil the football fields. The Floresville City Council initiated planning for the Floresville Sports Complex in 2016 in conjunction with the Floresville Economic Development Corporation and 4a Corporation. Since that time\, significant planning and resources have gone into this park. The park plan was awarded a one million dollar matching grant from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Outdoor Recreational Grant to assist with the development of the sports complex and River Park.
