U.S. Congressman Dr. Henry Cuellar will be at City Hall for the unveiling ceremony of the Floresville’s newly constructed, state-of-the-art USDA Wastewater Treatment Plant and to acknowledge the receipt of FEMA funds for Wilson County to Judge Richard Jackson. Congressman Cuellar was instrumental in ensuring the County received FEMA funding during the May 2015 catastrophic flooding.

Ribbon-Cutting for Downtown Revitalization Sidewalk Program and Grant
Ribbon-cutting ceremony to acknowledge the Downtown Revitalization Sidewalk Program to assist in providing ADA accessible sidewalks for the downtown area. The Mayor and City Council are pleased to announce that the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has awarded a grant in the amount of $250,000 to assist in providing ADA accessible sidewalks for the downtown area. The City has also partnered with Floresville Economic Development Corporation (4b) for a financial match of $50,000.
