In accordance with the Open Records Act, private citizens are entitled to receive reports generated by law enforcement. The following reports are available:
Copy of Police Report: $4.00
Copy of Police Crash Report: $6.00
Certified Copy of any Police Report: $8.00
Additional Copies: $1.00
Notary Public Services: $10.00
Except for a crash report, requests for all other reports must be submitted on a Request for Public Information form. All reports can take up to five working days, from the date of the request, to be generated. Reports containing information on any juvenile and reports that pertain to an open case or an ongoing investigation are not subject to release and will, therefore, not be released. Requests for reports can be made in any of the following ways:
- In person request at the Floresville Police Department
- Through the U.S. Mail
- By email to policedept@floresvilletx.gov
Payment can be in any of the following forms:
- Cash
- Personal Check
- Money Order made payable to the Floresville Police Department
