Councilman Jake Lamberth
Jake Lamberth was elected May 3, 2025, to Place 3 of the Floresville City Council. City council members serve two-year terms, representing the interests of the entire city at large. Members work alongside the mayor to adopt ordinances, establish policies, and make key decisions that guide the city’s growth, development, and quality of life. In addition to participating in city council meetings, they engage with residents, attend community events, and represent Floresville in various civic and regional matters.

  • Proud Floresville native and a graduate of Texas A&M University. Councilman Lamberth holds a Bachelor’s degree in leadership and distinguished himself as a student-athlete, earning multiple academic honors, including 1st Team Academic All-SEC and Academic All-Athletic Honor Roll. His academic and athletic achievements include induction into the National Collegiate Athlete Honor Society and serving as President of both the Letterman’s Association and the Team 12 Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
  • In addition to his council service, Jake is a Firefighter and EMT with Wilson County ESD 1, illustrating his dedication to public safety and community well-being. His leadership experience extends to his previous role as president of the Floresville 4A Board, where he played a key part in advancing local development and economic initiatives.
  • Jake is committed to preserving the spirit of Floresville while working diligently to improve roads and infrastructure, with particular attention to water and sewer expansions. He supports responsible and organic growth, encouraging new businesses to enhance family-friendly activities and dining options. Jake is dedicated to ensuring that public safety services, such as police and emergency services, are properly funded and staffed to provide safety for all citizens and equitable access to city resources for business owners.
